Labelgraphics (Glasgow) Limited, Glasgow, Scotland, recently won three awards in the International Division of the Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute’s 27th Annual Awards Competition. The international competition honors the finest labels produced by member converters in North, South and Central America, Europe and Australia.
Labelgraphics (Glasgow) Limited won first-place awards in the ’Wine and Spirits - Flexography Line - Prime’ category for its ’Kalashnikov Vodka Front’ label, and in the ’Wine and Spirits - Flexography Color Process - Prime’ category for its ’Ernest & Julio Gallo Turning Leaf’ label. The company also won an honorable-mention award in the ’Flexography - Line & Screen / Tone - Non-prime’ category for its ’Kalashnikov Vodka Back’ label. The awards were presented at the TLMI Annual Meeting in Palm Springs, CA, on October 26, 2004.
The 27th Annual TLMI Awards Competition drew 250 entries, resulting in 106 awards (79 North American, 27 International). TLMI is North America’s leading trade association serving the tag and label industry, representing more than 300 leading converter and supplier member companies.
